Operations Engineer in Water and Wastewater in Hässleholm!

Your role and responsibilities:

In this position, you will be involved in the preparation of orders for operation and maintenance projects, where you will follow up to ensure that what we have agreed upon, respectively purchased, is done on time with the right quality and at the cost or price we have agreed upon and budgeted.

Being a contact person for suppliers and authorities is also part of your assignment.

You will ensure that facility documentation is updated. You will prevent risks and ensure a safe working environment for both internal and external personnel. Before procurement, you will prepare tender documents and process incoming offers. In the role of operations engineer, you will work independently and have the opportunity to take many initiatives.

Who you are:

We are looking for someone who has at least a bachelor's degree in engineering in water and wastewater or a similar field, and/or other experience deemed equivalent. You need to have work experience, and it is an advantage if you have experience in the water and wastewater industry. Since you will be managing smaller projects in this role, knowledge or experience in contract law is required.

You understand the importance of and are skilled in communication, where you can establish a good dialogue both internally within the water organization and externally regarding operational issues for water and wastewater treatment plants. These contact points require that you have a good ability to communicate both in writing and verbally in Swedish and English. You can work independently as well as function well in a team and have an easy time creating networks.

As an employee, you are responsible, engaged, have good initiative, and an interest in water and wastewater issues. You contribute to workplace joy and care for a good working environment, and you share and work according to Hässleholm Miljö's values.

You are mobile in your work, as you alternate between office and fieldwork, which requires you to have a valid driver's license (B).

Conditions and application

The position is a permanent employment, with a six-month probationary period. Your working hours are on weekdays.
